Welcome to the TCMS Band Page!

The Todd County Middle School Band is one of the most successful organizations in Todd County.  We have been featured at the Walt DisneyWorld Downtown Disney stage (2009), have received awards and praise within the state of Kentucky, and has several students who take part each year in select honor bands in our district and area.

Students begin typically in sixth grade, where they select an instrument to begin learning to play.  Over the course of their middle school career, we work to perfect those skills and add to them to create wonderful music to perform at concerts, sports events, and more.  Ultimately, my goal is to give each student an understanding and love of music that will carry with them throughout both high school and post-secondary school.

Several students (while still at TCMS) also take part in the TCCHS marching band.  This elite marching band is also an award winning group, and I am proud to say that in the seven years (working on eight, now!) that I've been associated with it, we've broken every record that had been previous set.
